La Corte Società Agricola di Chiesi Romano
The Azienda Agricola La Corte di Chiesi is the only farm that produces milk around Vedriano, a small medieval village located at an altitude of 560 metres in the Municipality of Canossa. Founded around the 1920s, it has remained a family-run farm.
In fact, Emanuele and his brother Giuseppe still run the family business with 100 livestock animals, including 45 cows for the production of mountain milk for Parmigiano Reggiano.
Alongside tending to their cattle, Emanuele and Giuseppe work about 60 hectares of land used for growing the fodder needed by their cows to produce good milk.
“Ever since I was young, I have always loved looking after animals. It was my father who passed this passion down to me. I owe everything to my father and grandfather”.
