Azienda Agricola Cilloni Riccardo
Riccardo started working with his father Alfonso in 2013, when he finished his studies as a surveyor. In 2016, taking advantage of the Youth Award, he opened his own business by taking his share of the barn and his milk book.
“This job has taught me to be independent and to be organized. The freedom it gives you is priceless.”
The farm today has about 40 milking cows and a large pasture for dry cows to allow the animals to move freely.
“There are a lot of sacrifices to be done but a lot of satisfaction in this job. Knowing that we are part of the Parmigiano Reggiano production chain is a source of so much pride because it is a really important product for our tradition. “
