Azienda Agricola Bussi Marco
The Azienda Agricola Bussi Marco is located in Canossa, in the picturesque foothills of the Reggio Emilia Apennines, and is formed of a dairy cattle farm for the production of Parmigiano Reggiano as well as 60 hectares of arable land.
Marco Bussi has been running the farm inherited from his father since 1984, together with his wife and one employee: 60 milking cows and 40 young animals on the farm, only fed with traditional feed almost exclusively from the farm’s land.
“Running this business in the mountains involves more effort and higher costs; it requires complete dedication and love for your work. My role model is my father. He dedicated everything he had to this business and today, at 90 years old, he still comes to the farm and helps it grow.
