Società Agricola Armani (F.lli Albertini)
This company was set up in April 2023, when the Albertini brothers decided to buy their grandfather’s farm, with very enthusiastic backing from the rest of the family. They currently have about forty dry Holstein Friesian cows.
“We own about 25 hectares of land, most of which are permanent pastures and alfalfa which we use as direct feed for the cows”.
The farm’s main goal is to guarantee authentic, high-quality milk, while at the same time respecting the environment and animal welfare by taking steps such as proper ventilation in the cowshed and wetting the cows at hotter times of the year.
“What made me take this path together with my brother was the history of our family who passed down their passion for animals to us.
We are always looking for new techniques and ways of improving our production, while upholding the tradition and passion which have always been a hallmark of a product like Parmigiano Reggiano.
We decided to embark upon this venture by looking after a limited number of cows, in this way, we can offer an authentic, high-quality product, with the utmost respect for the tradition and craftsmanship that have always been a hallmark of Parmigiano Reggiano”.
