What does sustainability mean to us?

We are a company focused on Corporate Social Responsibility issues and strongly committed to sustainability. Ethics, responsibility and corporate sustainability are our founding principles that guide our operational and strategic choices every day. We have always aimed to create long-term value for our employees, our partners and our society, with a view to contributing to the well-being of the entire community and the planet.

For us, this means operating in accordance with the UN 2030 Agenda when it comes to environmental sustainability, our business model and long-term economic responsibility, with substantial investments in:

  • 100% recyclable packaging
  • Reducing consumption and incentivising the recycling of plastic
  • Lean production (target: zero paper)
  • Milk supply chain traceability
  • Supporting small mountain communities


We only cooperate with suppliers who share our values: Supplier Code of Conduct

Working to ensure the welfare of animals used in primary production: voluntary Animal Welfare Certification

The focus on sustainability has always being part of our DNA and represents an effective and costant commitment, declined on several fronts: economic, enviromental and social. Our commitment to animal welfare has allowed the Company to obtain the voluntary Animal Welfare certification according to the ClassyFarm protocol for three consecutive years. Together with our farmers, we’re developping new collaborations with veterinary doctors to improve the level of animal welfare in our stables.

Energy Usage reduction

We’re investing in renewable energy, primarly photovoltaics, in order to self-produce at least 20% of the energy we consume by 2025.
